I am a visual artist/software developer from Berlin, Germany. My background is in graphics design, typography, UX, cinematography and visual effects. I worked on everything from commercials to blockbusters. Both on the artitic side as well as on R&D.
I have a broad range of interests and I try to pay as many of them respect as is feasible.
After 25+ years of C/C++ I hopped on the Rust bandwagon in 2018 and never looked back.
I maintain several 3D graphics related crates and I am helping out with the (as of yet unofficial) efforts to wrap all the Academy (of Motion Pictures) Software Foundation‘s (ASWF) C++ libraries in Rust crates.
In the open I work on several crates that I hope to combine into a framework for 3D creative coding. Something like nannou
but for 3D (+animation). I also contribute code back to any other crate that I rely on in this effort.
