Observations on Windows Sandbox

Just a place to note Sandbox behaviors related to SumatraPDF features so they are not considered as "Bugs" or failings

• 1. OOB (out of the box) Windows Sandbox does not seem to include index service (Windows Search) but does work at times !
     Thus using iFilter to search in PDF contents appears not to work consistently!
• 2. OOB Windows Sandbox currently has odd limited image handling (MSPaint is not included)
     Explorer Previewer does not always show image file contents nor does the thumbnail handler in some cases ! (why work some times)
     For SumatraPDF this means that the main Preview Pane shows some files like pdf and cbx and html but others expected may not be shown e.g. preview thumbnails
• 3. Unknown how HEIC behaves but think that without paint support it does not work in Sandbox, and possibly page is blank within SumatraPDF files such as a zip/cbx, but need to confirm with the other mixed go/nogo behaviours.
• 4. Windows scaling on exactly same screen may have differing effects, here the menu dropdown pallet is affected inside sandbox but not outside ! yet on another occasion works well !!
     

Overall expect some inconsistency until feature limits are better defined
