Import error: 'ic:canisters/test' using default instructions

Hi, I followed instructions but am getting an error in the browser after npm start
I did not change anything, and followed the very straightforward instructions.

The test canister seems to be deployed. I tried following the individual instructions for building and installing, but same results.

Am I missing something obvious? or are there any more steps required. BTW am using Ubuntu.
