Right now, the room data is embedded in the script. This means the program itself has to be modified whenever the rooms are changed. Instead, the room data should be read from an external file, that can be edited independently. It could even be edited on the fly (during the game) and reloaded, so that users could extend the game from inside it.
A few steps would be involved:
- deciding on a data format for the room data
- probably turning the room data in the program to a class
