Plugin configuration my tflint.hcl:

v0.17 is over a year old and is not supported by the latest TFLint. Please update to the latest version.

But the error message claims any version >=0.14 is "compatible". So why is 0.17 "incompatible"?

What is mentioned here is the SDK version. The SDK for v0.17 ruleset is v0.13.

I understand that this is not intuitive for end users, but it is designed this way because there is no way to know from which version a plugin used a compatible SDK version.
