Sorting in folders based on EXIF data

Does anyone know if it is possible to create folders based on EXIF data? I'd like to sort them in the following order: year > month > day.

https://exiftool.org/ does exactly what I was looking for.
YEAR/MONTH sorting by the createdate EXIF data

The commands are a bit more complicated but well documented and the forum is very active in case you need some help ! Your case seems a bit more complicated than mine but this was my workflow:

• Remove duplicate and files other than images/mov (organize)
• Organize my images/mov in the desired folder structure YYYY/MM (EXIFtool)

exiftool -api QuickTimeUTC -r -d %Y/%B "-filename<${CreateDate}/%f%-c.%e" .

And everything was sorted out in minutes ! Great tool!
