with the obsidian callout system you should make it so that in the plugin's settings it should have the ability to be " [!bible]- " instead of always being " [!bible]+ " in other words making it so that the verse isn't always open when the document is for organization purposes.

my suggest on how it should be implemented

Within the settings you could have it so that theres a drop down or something of the sort and the setting being called "What would you like default option to be? and under the drop it could be "open" or "close" or even just have a prompt that says - or + for the people who know how to use markdown.
