Hi there @BernadetGoey! Firstly, a big thank you for raising this issue. Every piece of feedback we receive helps us to make Umbraco better. We really appreciate your patience while we wait for our team to have a look at this but we wanted to let you know that we see this and share with you the plan for what comes next.
We wish we could work with everyone directly and assess your issue immediately but we're in the fortunate position of having lots of contributions to work with and only a few humans who are able to do it. We are making progress though and in the meantime, we will keep you in the loop and let you know when we have any questions. Thanks, from your friendly Umbraco GitHub bot 🤖 🙂 |

Hi @BernadetGoey 👋 Thanks for reaching out! You are right, such an option is currently missing on the content picker. I'll go ahead and make this a feature request and we will continue from there 🙂 |

I just want to add a scenario to this one. We have a client with a "main website" where they have "all the content", they also have some localized versions of the website where they want to link back to the English version with links like "See full product details on the English website". Another scenario that I've experienced is for my e-mail package. Inside an e-mail, someone might want to link to a specific language variant of a node. Today they need to hardcode the links since there is no way to pick (or store) a link with a language variant (or segment) included. This might sound simple but it also impacts the way that links are stored. We would need to extend the udi |

Which Umbraco version are you using? (Please write the exact version, example: 10.1.0)
13.4.0
Bug summary
Our customer would like to choose content in a different language in a contentpicker, this appears to be impossible
Specifics
We have a website set up in Dutch and English, but not all pages have an English translation for its content. The customer would like to create the English version of the page and link to the Dutch version of the page in a contentpicker component we have set up.
Currently, we are able to choose any page on the website, but the link will default to the current language:
This makes sense, but there's cases where you'd specifically like to refer to the content in a different language. We are unable to change this field to a URL picker because we'd lose the data of hundreds of buttons already set. Would it be possible to add this as an option to the content picker?
Steps to reproduce
Expected result / actual result
The ability to select the content in a different language from the one you're currently in when choosing content in a contentpicker.
