Current Situation

• Limited Trash Management: We’re not currently focusing on managing trash files, which can lead to clutter and inefficiency. As a backup, files exist, but there’s no easy way to manage trash contents, especially to keep recent files while removing older ones.

Proposed Features

1. Filter-Based Trash Removal

   • How It Works: Let users delete trash files based on specific filters.
   • Options:
     • Date: Remove files older than a set date.
     • File Type: Delete certain types of files (e.g., images, documents), in media.
     • Bulk Actions: Delete multiple files at once based on the filters.

2. Automated Trash Cleanup

   • Automatic Deletion: Set rules to automatically delete trash files after a certain time.
   • Benefits: Keeps trash clean without manual effort.

3. Trash Retention Settings

   • Custom Duration: Allow users to choose how long files stay in trash before deletion.
   • Role-Based Settings: Different settings for different user roles or file types.

4. Restore Options

   • Easy Recovery: Let users easily restore files from trash.
   • Restore History: View and restore previous versions of deleted files.

5. User Permissions

   • Control Access: Decide who can delete, restore, or manage trash files based on their role.
