Very nice work, upgraded me t480 from big sur to Monterey with official release and did the Ventura step using the last night development branch.

Do you believe it is easy or ever possible to detect the USB and HDMI/display on the thunderbolt dock station ?

Even if last night it was looking ok, this morning after a lot of testing, it looks tricky.

• laptop does not boot up with closed lid, it starts loading, asks for encryption password, shows the apple icon with the progress bar and then immediatly remains dark.

In order to make it work lid has to remain open, then when system is up, hdmi cable needs to be disconnected and reconnected again to have the external display, however you cannot disable the laptop screen from settings, while closing the lid will crash (i guess) sleep without possibility to recover the system.

For the few seconds i spend yesterday in monterey, using external monitor was ok during the whole upgrade period from big sur to monterey.

Apart from the fact that laptop screen has to remain open even if external is used, the rest look ok, wifi speed is good, battery, various brightness & volume buttons.

One more minor issue for future consideration, machine does not shutdown, it just reboots and when it prompts for the encryption password during boot you get the option to shutdown and then it is ok.
