Best Segment Container for HEVC in HLS Streams: fMP4 vs. MPEG-TS?

Hello everyone, I'm currently working with HLS streams using HEVC (H.265) encoding and am uncertain about the choice between fMP4 and MPEG-TS as segment containers. With HLS.js recently adding support for HEVC in MPEG-TS (v1.6), I'm curious about the overall compatibility of both containers across various platforms, including native HLS support on mobile devices, smart TVs, and browsers (native HLS support or with HLS.js).

Which segment container do you recommend for the best playback experience with HEVC in HLS streams?

I found this, according to Apple's HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) authoring specification for Apple devices:

1.5. The container format for HEVC video MUST be fMP4.

I I think this issue no longer needs to be discussed.
