Building Chombo plugin

Greetings -- our admins recently installed VisIt 3.4.1 on our cluster (https://top500.org/system/179861/) via EasyBuild.

Unfortunately, the Chombo plugin was not included in the build -- what is the preferred way of compiling the plugin and, moreover, is there a guide for doing so?

I am not familiar with EasyBuild, so I cannot speak to what was done with that in order to install VisIt.
Does it build VisIt's third party library dependencies? If so, do you know which ones?

The Chombo database plugin requires HDF5, so if VisIt cannot find HDF5 during configure, then the plugin won't be built. VisIt has a number of plugins requiring HDF5 besides Chombo.
