client server with container

Hi,
I would like to use visit in a container (apptainer) in a client / server way. The apptainer-visit installation is the server. Do you have a suggestion what to set for the "path to visit installation" when setting up host profiles?

At the moment I have something like: apptainer exec visit.sif /path/to/visit

But here, nothing happens when selecting the server folder in the open dialogue. And I don't get an error message; at least I did not see any.

We've only just begun exploring Apptainer options with VisIt, so not sure I can be much help.
My best guess is that a customlauncher script would be needed.

The script would need to execute the .sif (but not run visit, so perhaps something like apptainer exec visit.sif bash).
Then the script would need to determine the ip address of the running .sif. That ip address is what will help client-visit connect to the .sif visit.

Current examples are in our repository, perhaps the one for llnl would prove useful.
