How can I separate Middleware and Frontend? #7368

Hi team,
In Vuestorefront 1 you separated vuestorefront and vuestorefront api, therefore We can using the API server for other frontends such as Android and iOs application.
Why you guys don't do that with Vuestorefront 2 (Alokai)?
Although in your architecture image, you separated them.
We have to build frontend and middleware in the same source code, package, server
Consequensly, when Android and iOs app call a request to API (Middleware) the Vuestorefront still had to work?
We think, It's bad perfomance
That's why we can't update vuestorefront 1 to vuestorefront 2
If I'm wrong, could you please let us know. We're really love using alokai. Thank you.
