Hi. In following documentation: https://www.w3.org/TR/xslt-10/
it would be great to have one or some examples of matching the attribute value,
not only text suggestion but also combinations,e.g. match attribute context with values "period*",
which would match "context="period0", "context="period1", etc.

The latest draft version of the spec at https://qt4cg.org/branch/master/xslt-40/Overview.html has added a few more examples. But the spec isn't a tutorial: it's no substitute for books, which are designed to explain the language rather than to specify it formally.
