Presets autoloading stops working after restarting the laptop a few times

Hello,
I've downloaded presets for easyeffects, and configured autoloading in the PipeWire tab. For some reason the autoloading only works until the machine is restarted like 2 or 3 times, after that I need to remove the configuration and add it again.

I am running Arch with GNOME. What could be the cause of it? Are there any potential fixes?

If you're running the flatpak, a new release of easyeffects is set to be published today or tomorrow, so hopefully the bug fixes there will address your problem. Please check in again once easyeffects 7.1.9 becomes available.

Also, have you tried running sudo coredumpctl list after your easyeffects stops working?

The "unable to acquire bus" usually means that another easyeffects instance is still running. Remember to run easyeffects -q before beginning to troubleshoot to ensure no instances are running.

Got it, then easyeffects is always running, because I usually execute commands when presets stop working. With the AUR package I noticed that presets are more likely loaded, and the sound works for a longer period of time.

The issue now is that presets work for a certain period of time, and then they don’t. But again, easyeffects is running in the background when presets stop working.

Thanks, I will do that. I’m away from home for 3 days, after that I will try it.

I will also do a clean OS installation, and only install easyeffects.

I tested the sound with a clean system. The problem is not with easyeffects. I am so sorry for blaming it on easyeffects.
