How to run pcbdraw from the docker image?

How can I run directly pcbdraw from the docker image? Being new to docker, I wasn't able to figure this out myself.

Also the link at the end of https://github.com/yaqwsx/PcbDraw/blob/master/doc/installation.md is broken.

A while ago we changed the entry point for the Docker container directly to KiKit. If you want to invoke other commands, you have to override it to shell or to pcbdraw via --entrypoint /bin/bash or --entrypoint /usr/local/bin/pcbdraw.

The file does exists (otherwise I'd get Error: Invalid value for 'INPUT': File '...' does not exist.), but fails to read for some reason. Any suggestions?

You mount the current working directory under /kikit in the docker container. That's the reason why the file is not found.

As I wrote, this seems to be something different. If the file is not found, I'd get a different error (I tried, see above). In this case it appears the file is found, but can't be read for some reason.

I suggest - run /bin/bash as entry point (with -it). This will open an interactive shell where you can look around and analyze what's wrong.

EDIT: Ah, I missed the part after error message. Then, it seems that the files are mounted with a wrong permission.

Thanks, that's quite helpful. I was able to get inside the container and indeed file reads are failing. I'll post here a solution once I figure it out.
