Error reading path for proclipsing

it keeps on giving the same error whenever i try to add proclipsing
-could not find http://proclipsing.googlecode.com/svn/tags/current_releases/proclipsingSite/

All the notes moved from Google Code still refer to Google code SVN repo. Those references don't work (no code there anymore anyway) and tried assorted ways from git-hub to no avail.

I let things stagnate, but things should get back up to date some time this summer (northern hemisphere).

Doesn't help you much but I'm still running with a version prior to the
Google code shift. Wanted to update myself but met the same thing you did.

FWIW The author, Bakos suggested he was going to sort something out this
Northern Hemisphere summer. Although no doubt he'll meet other issues with
the newer versions of processing. But even to be able to update the
software for older versions is a step forward.

I was having this same error. This fix worked for me.
Download from https://github.com/ybakos/proclipsing as a zip.
Unzip the file to a location you remember.
Go to Eclipse>Help>Add new software. In the dialouge that pops up, hit the add button. Type a name, then hit the 'Local' Button over to the right. Navigate to the folder called proclipsingSite and select it
From there, it should work as if you've entered the google Site and you can follow those instructions
