Chef Setup

To enable to use of Chef, first, a chef server must be set up and configured. From there, a workstation can be set up inside the docker container running the openVAS deployment and listener application. As mentioned in the Vulnerability Scanner Setup Guide, several options have to be set configuration file for this listener application.

Once these configuration options are correctly set (including enabling chef for the desired cloud platform(s)), chef should automatically be deployed to the VM as part of the listener application security process.
