EscrowCoin Linux wallet compiled on Ubuntu 16.04
Security Warning
Trusting pre-compiled binaries for the linux wallet (especially when being used for MN purposes) is not recommended. For security reasons, binaries should be compiled locally to ensure no tampering to the source code was done. That being said, I have not modified the source in any way.
To use bootstrap.dat
- Download the file bootstrap.tar and uncompress it .
- Verify signatures or checksums provided. This is to prevent using a fake file.
- Stop the wallet if it’s running.
- Move the bootstrap.dat file to the wallet’s data directory. It’s usually at %appdata% on Windows (ex: %appdata%\Escrow) or $HOME on Linux (ex: $HOME/.Escrow).
- Open the wallet. It should start importing blocks. You can remove
bootstrap.dat and bootstrap.tar once import is complete.
