aftic-conf-app is built on top of Pinax Symposion and PinaxCon. With our changes, your mileage may vary.

Getting Started

Make sure you are using a virtual environment of some sort (e.g. virtualenv or pyenv).

createdb pinaxcon
pip install -r requirements.txt
./manage.py migrate
./manage.py loaddata sites conference proposal_base sitetree sponsor_benefits sponsor_levels
./manage.py runserver

Adding a page to main menu:

• Go to https://enigmatic-depths-30457.herokuapp.com/admin/sitetree/tree/1/change/
• Click "Add Site Tree Item +"
• Enter a Title.
• In "URL:" enter something like this: pages_page "MY_NEW_PAGE/"
• Under "Additional Settings" click "Show".
• Check the "URL as Pattern" box.
• Click "Save"
• Go to homepage ( https://enigmatic-depths-30457.herokuapp.com/ ) and click on page to add content to it.
