The game contacts an online server to download the artwork, depending on the users chosen settings. This is problematic as this server could disappear in the future; Barnstorm Games have already abandoned many parts of the ecosystem. This seems to be tolerated, because those links were posted by Barnstorm Games on the official forums.

This is a collection of those links. Ideally, all of these links should be saved in archive.org, too (see "Save Page Now" on https://web.archive.org/).

Please contribute your own official links / resolutions / quality-levels. Having access to these files means that we can preserve Pro Pinball Ultra.

Views

When you are in the options menu, the views are as follows:

  • Top row: high_no_backbox, medium, low
  • Bottom row: high, medium_with_backbox

How to install

  1. download the pack for your view and vertical resolution
    • usually the first number of the zip file name tells you which resolution the pack is for
  2. go to (game install folder)/extra_data/timeshock
  3. go to folder named after your view (e.g. high_no_backbox)
  4. create sub-folder, named exactly like your zip file (e.g. 1440_1440_4096)
  5. extract correct zip here
  6. create a file just named installed, with 0 bytes

Restart Pro Pinball, if it was running while you copied the GFX pack there.
