This application generates your Akan Name based on your gender and day of birth.

Description

This is a website that informs the user of their Akan name. It gets user input via a form and calculates the day when one was born and returns the user's day of birth and Akan name.

Behaviour Driven Development

• The Website get's the user input via a form.

• The user is prompted to enter their details which include :
  (i) Year of birth
  (ii) Date and
  (iii) Month of birth
  
• The information is passed to the business logic end and outputs the Akan name.
• If the user enters invalid data, a pop up is displayed and the user is prompted to check his input.

Installation

To Run this app in your machine, you need to:

• Open Terminal Ctrl+Alt+T

• git clone https://github.com/John-Njau/Akan-Names.git

• cd Akan-Names

• code . or atom . based on the text editor you have to open and view the project.

Technologies Used

• HTML - To build the structure of the pages.

• CSS - Used to style the pages incuding the side bar

• Bootstrap - To style the web page.

• JavaScript - To add functionality and form validation.

• jquery - For user input validation.
