Welcome to the BSLegacyUtil wiki!

Heads Up!!

You'll need to install the following:
To open the program: .NET (DotNet) Desktop Runtime v7.0.3+

Introduction

Upon opening the application, you are greeted with 6 options. They are as follows:

  • [#1] Select Game Version
  • [#2] Download selected version
  • [#3] Mod selected version
  • [#4] Play Game (On Steam in Normal Mode)
  • [#5] Play Game (On Steam in Oculus Mode)
  • [#6] Change Steam User Name

Select Game Version

Selecting this opeion will list all available versions you can download.

Download Selected Version

Selecting this option will prompt you to enter your Steam username¹ and password².

¹ Username is your account name and NOT your display name
² We do not censor the password, Please never share your password with anyone. We are not responsible if you share your password to anyone in the form of, screen sharing, screenshots, screen capture, etc.
We do not log or keep any information about you or your account
The password is only temporarily save in memory (RAM) and well be clear upon closing the program. This is kept for the ease of downloading multiple versions of the game. Steam Guard code may pop up each time you go and download the game.

If your account is protected by Steam Guard, the app will ask you before proceeding with the download.
Option 2

Mod Selected Version

Upon selecting this option, we will attempt to mod your game.
Game Versions > 0.13.2 we will mod it manually with IPA that comes with the installed package.
Game Versions ≤ 0.13.2 The provided ModAssistant application will open. Here you can select what plugins you would like installed.
Game Version 1.11.1 and all other previous versions, we have extra plugins here on our website that aren't provided with ModAssistant.

Play Game (Steam)

Launches the game (of the selected game version) properly with Steam(VR).

Play Game (Oculus)

Launches the game (of the selected game version) properly with Steam(VR), but with the --vrmode oculus launch argument to open the game through Steam(VR) but with full Oculus Dashboard priority.

Change Steam UserName

This will allow you to change your steam username from within the program (instead of manually editing the config file).
