This is the main repo used for prospective 2019 Outreachy interns to contribute Mozilla Data Science team projects.

It covers the two 2019 projects:

• Finding Representative Users of Prerelease Firefox
• Improve understanding of Firefox growth metrics

Contribution

The initial contribution process steps are the following:

1. Clone this repo
   • This will download the relevant dataset in initial_contribution
2. Read through the initial_contribution/README.md file.
   • This contains the instructions on how to contribute.
3. Submit your work via email to one of the mentors.

The subsequent contribution step is described in 2nd_contribution.

Submission

• Deadline for initial_contribution submissions are October 18, 2019.
• Deadline for 2nd_contribution submissions are October 31, 2019.
• Please submit your final notebook/script by email to one of the mentors, and include which project you are interested in working on ("Improve understanding of Firefox growth metrics" or "Finding Representative Users of Prerelease Firefox")
