Resulting schedule accurately reflects the intents of all instructors so far as I'm aware. Particularly, Shawn and Rob were consulted.

Students return from lunch at 14:00 and usually takes a few minutes to get settled.

I think this afternoon is pretty packed. Students have been asking a lot of questions. I think we will probably only make it through 2 presentations, 3 at most.

@shawntabrizi I agree things are pretty crammed that afternoon. They really are quite packed through the whole schedule given the slightly wider lunch window.

To make some breathing room, I'm thinking of moving a couple lectures out of the main schedule into optional after hours. Alternatively, we could cut exercises.

Are there any pieces of content you consider particularly non-vital?

@nukemandan Is it even feasible to have after-hours/weekend lectures?

I would not want the weekend to be anything but office hours to finish the assignment, due no latter than 1900 Saturday (before a social that we will not have the class opt out from only because they are scrambling on finishing) https://www.notion.so/paritytechnologies/Assignment-4-ee02a7b404db49deab7e8a6ba38b1ada

After hours is possible but not practical. After ~1700 the rooms energy and attention rapidly declines and generally instructors too are getting worn out.

I have moved to the mod room on matrix to work out details with Max to see in we could rather move back content to the moring of the first day - let's discuss there and then resolve here.

10:00 Lecture - Blockspace (.5 hr) @rphmeier
10:30 Lecture - Deep dive: Execution cores (1 hr) @BradleyOlson64
11:30 Coffee Break (15 m)
11:45 Lecture - Deep dive: Cumulus (1.25 hr) @BradleyOlson64
further, this is a somewhat firm requirement, the place closes at 1530 for lunch and we have 1300 to 1400 marked for us with assurance enough food is ready for the group arriving together @ the cafeteria.

- Assumes Rob is willing to present all four lectures he gave in Buenos Aires and that he is generally available from the 2nd to the 4th
- Assumes Rob's lectures will be same duration as in BA recordings
- Assumes Shawn's "Shared Security and Blockspace" lecture can be replaced by Rob's "Execution Sharding" and "Blockspace" lectures
- Assumes Rob's "Execution Sharding in Polkadot" lecture doesn't overlap too much with Joshy's "Introduction to the Parachains Protocol". Or we're happy to cover this twice at different depths.

I definitely used Rob's execution sharding slides as the starting point for my own slides in #640. It might make sense to only do one of those two.

@JoshOrndorff I'll review that talk of Rob's to see whether I think it covers things in sufficient depth as a lead in to my availability cores talk. Do you think you'll be feeling well enough to present?

I'll definitely be feeling well enough by then. No worries about that. Tested negative today and will be back in class for sure by Monday.

when you think it's ready for the 1st morning specifically, I think we are in a good enough place for this time to merge and can follow up with what actually happens after: #791

Good insight. Idk that there's much to be done about it.
