User Stories
As Thomas, I want an API so that I can view my usage metrics and count how many people pass by me to measure promotion efficacy.
As Thomas, I want the ability to add users to my network via my friend's networks. I'm always looking for opportunities to connect to new people, and I need to be able to add users without having to organize a meeting time that works within our busy schedules. Friends of friends are friends of mine!
As Christina, I want to be able to introduce myself to more customers so that I can increase my business and my number of customers! It is also very hard for me to put myself out of my comfort zone so I want an app that allows me to give an introduction before I get to meet someone in person! I'd love to portray myself in a certain way that is hard for me to articulate when I first meet a customer.
As Christina, I want to be able to configure how far away someone has to be to see my posts so that I can reach a larger section of the city and gain new clients! Then again, it would be nice to be able to reduce the broadcasting range when I'm using the app for a more personal purpose.
As Jonathan, I want to be able to block or remove people from my network. The whole appeal of this application to me is to be able to make or join fun and engaging communities and to do that, I need to be able to choose who gets to be a part of my circle.
As Jonathan, I want to be able to edit my privacy settings so that only students who are in my friend's network are able to add me. I want to find my kind of people, and only align myself with them without the fear of others intruding.
As Viewer Valeria, I want to be able to view what other people are posting on social media. Whether I'm procrastinating my homework, board on class, messaging people, or wondering what someone is up to. Being able to interact with or see others is important to me.
As Accidental Typo Adam, I want to be able to subtuly delete things I put on social media when I embarrass myself. Sometimes I misspell things terribly wrong, regret an unfunny joke, make a friend uncomfortable, or mix up Finn and Jake's names causing twenty plus friends to spam me to tell me I made an obvious mistake.
As "Check This Out" Chad, I want to be able to tell people to "check out" something funny I posted really quickly. I care that they can see it on their own phone AND I can view it in my own post history to make sure no one is excluded from my hilarious joke.
As Busy Benedict, I'm constantly running around and on a tight schedule. I want to be able to quickly connect and network with people in some way when I'm not there. How am I supposed to meet my neighbors with a nineteen hour school schedule with a part time job?
As Introverted Isla, I like having friends, I just don't like asking for people to be my friend. I don't want to ask someone for their phone number because that's too awkward, but I like talking to people around me. I want someway to interact with people that I see a lot without the need to ask them to take action.
As Giant Group Jeremy, I'm part of a large group of people like a sport's team, fraternity, or lecture hall. I want the ability to add people that are within my re-sizable area so I can reach-out to people within my group, or in a place with a central common interest.
As Lurker Larry, I don't like posting on social media, but I do like looking at other's posts and interactions. I want the ability to do almost nothing with the app. I want to be able to set a privacy setting that only specifically accepts invites from people I reach-out to myself.
