Facer

Its a face recognition system to detect faces using trained model.

Prerequisites

1. Poetry
2. Python >= 3.10
3. Dataset
4. Webcam

QuickStart

1. Create virtual env

poetry shell

2. Install dependencies

poetry install

3. Run encoder

python main.py --encode --model [MODEL_NAME='hog|cnn']

4. Run facer with specific image

python main.py --model [MODEL_NAME='hog|cnn'] --image [IMAGE_PATH]

eg:

python main.py --model hog --image 'dataset/val/elon_musk/161856.jpg'

4. Run facer with real time face detection using webcam

python main.py --model [MODEL_NAME='hog|cnn']

eg:

python main.py --model hog
