• Change the GUI of the project to “Nimbus,” which is a cross-platform look and feel in Java.
• Add the global exception handler class to the project to handle all uncaught exceptions globally and notify end-users via a pop-up window in GUI.
• Add various examples for performing filter-based feature selection methods.
• Solve the problem of creating new folders in different operating systems.
• Fix several errors in parameter settings.

This is our first release of the Universal Feature Selection Tool (UniFeat). We have implemented 30 filter, wrapper, and embedded-based feature selection methods.
