SONAT is intended to help designing multivariate, multiplatform ocean observation networks using ocean model ensembles and the Array Modes (ArM) method.
It takes the form of a python platform that has a commandline user interface and a library, with configuration and extension capabilities.
With conda:
$ conda install -c vacumm -c conda-forge -c defaults sonat
It will also install the VACUMM and SANGOMA packages, and their respective dependencies.
SONAT comes with a full documentation.
Source are available on the SONAT github page. Here you can also post tickets for requests and issues.
Release notes for all tags and versions are available here.
VACUMM is under the CeCiLL license, which is compatible with well known GPL license, and is a property of IFREMER.
The first version of SONAT was developped by Actimar, in collaboration with the CNRS/LEGOS, for IFREMER thanks to a grant from the CPER ROEC.
