circle_detection

Description

Python program written to measure the size of microfluidic droplets from microscopy images. It calculates the circular hough transform of images to detect and measure circular objects. This code was used in Debon, A. P., Wootton, R. C. R., Elvira, K. S. (2015). Droplet confinement and leakage: Causes, underlying effects, and amelioration strategies. Biomicrofluidics, 9 (2).

Usage

  1. run script
  2. load images
  3. right click circle to remove the detected object
  4. left click and drag to measure object by hand
