Jumper: Project Summary for Orientation

Hi, I'm ___. A cliff effect can happen when you're getting public benefits and you get a 50 cent raise. Suddenly benefits cut out and you're bringing in less than you were before, maybe putting you underwater. Predicting when and how this'll happen is not something we can expect from a human. Our goal is to help case managers help their clients better predict how their changes in circumstances will affect their benefits.

We're using Reactjs and don't have a back end because of issues with privacy and security. The project is in a transitional phase and we're currently looking at:

• examining our UX/UI
• strengthening our architecture
• building robust tests
• translations for more accessibility (esp. Spanish, French, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, Portuguese)

We're looking for:

• designers
• coders
• and polyglots
