Editing AMI backup frequency

  1. Go to the AWS Systems Manager Maintenance Windows: https://console.aws.amazon.com/systems-manager/maintenance-windows?region=us-east-1
  2. Click on the maintenance window you want to change the frequency for (QA, Staging, or Production)
  3. Click Edit
  4. In the Schedule section, replace the cron statment or use the other UI options to set a frequency
