Gameplay

Starting the Game

  1. Navigate Around the Game: Explore different rooms and confront Wendy, who is now a zombified shadow of her former self.
  2. Make Critical Decisions: Choose between attempting to cure Wendy, ending her suffering, or escaping.
  3. Interact with the Environment: Look around, collect items, and use them to influence the outcome.
  4. Use the Hint System: Access hints to get guidance on solving puzzles or finding critical items.

Rooms

  • Entrance Hall: A dark, foreboding space with an elaborate door and a mysterious code lock.

  • Living Room: Dimly lit with a TV, fireplace, and a passage to other areas.

  • Hallway: An eerie corridor with old photographs and doors leading to different rooms.

  • Library: A dusty room filled with books and hidden secrets.

  • Bedroom: A cluttered space with personal items and a worn wardrobe.

  • Kitchen: A neglected kitchen with old appliances and cobwebs.

  • Basement: A grim space with a heavy door and a crucial item hidden in an old vending machine.

  • Laboratory: A cluttered room with experimental remnants and crucial items for your quest.

Installation

  1. Clone the Repository:

    git clone https://github.com/https-sharif/cabin-of-despair-game.git
  2. Navigate to the Project Directory:

    cd cabin-of-despair-game
  3. Compile and Run:

    javac CabinOfDespair.jav
    java CabinOfDespair

Controls

  • Number Selection: Use the numeric keys to select options during gameplay.
  • Yes/No Choices: Enter 'Y' or 'N' when prompted for binary decisions.
  • Code/Combination Input: Enter specific codes or combinations when required to unlock certain areas or progress in the game.
