OPZ OP1 functionality

Function	OP-1	OP-Z
Play melody	Select Synth, then play notes.	Select a synth track, then play notes.
Play drums	Select Drums, then play notes.	Select a drum track, then play notes.
Pitch bend	In Synth, press Shift and < or >.	Press bend control.
Increase/decrease octave	Press < and > in synth mode.	Press + and -.
Revert to synth preset	Shift+Synth.	On synth track, hold Track and press flashing note button.
Revert to drum preset	Shift+Drum.	On drum track, hold Track and press flashing note button.
Select synth/drum preset	Press 1-8.	Hold Track and press 1-0 and note buttons.
Select synth/drum engine	Turn blue encoder.	Hold Track and press 1-0, or use app.
Enable D-box drum synth	In drum mode, turn blue encoder to maximum.	[No D-Box]
Save synth/drum preset	Hold 1-8 for 5 seconds.	Hold Track and hold note button until meter fills.
Randomize preset	Use random LFO type.	On synth track, press Track and Record.
Change ADSR parameters	Press T2 and turn encoders.	Tap Shift until encoder LEDs are green, then turn encoders.
Change play mode	On ADSR screen hold shift and turn encoder.	Hold Track and turn blue encoder.
Change portamendo	On ADSR screen hold shift and turn encoder.	Hold Track and turn red encoder.
Toggle effect	Press T3.	Tap Shift until encoder LEDs are yellow, then turn green or blue encoder. Or Select FX1 or FX2 track, hold shift and press button for track to toggle effect for.
Select effect engine	Press shift+T3 and turn encoder.	Change to FX1 or FX2 track, hold Track and press 1-0.
Toggle LFO	Press T4.	Tap Shift until encoder LEDS are purple, then turn encoders to non-zero.
Select LFO type	In synth mode, press shift+T4 and turn encoder.	[Doesn't have multiple LFO types]
Select LFO source	On LFO screen, turn blue encoder.	[Doesn't have multiple LFO sources]
Select LFO waveform	[Doesn't have multiple internal LFO waveforms]	With purple encoder LEDs, turn red encoder.
Select LFO target	On LFO screen, turn white and orange encoders.	Select track before applying LFO. Then with purple encoder LEDs, turn yellow encoder.

Sequencer

Enable sequencer mode	Press Sequencer.	[Sequencer is always available]
Select sequencer type	Press Shift+Sequencer and turn encoder.	[Only one sequencer type, equivalent to "pattern".]
Step-time record note to pattern	Hold Shift and play notes.	Hold Record and play notes, or hold note then press sequencer step button.
Real-time record note to pattern	In sequencer mode, turn orange encoder then hold shift and play notes in time.	Press Play, then hold Record and play notes in time.
Play pattern	Turn orange encoder.	Press Play.
Select active step	Press < and > in sequencer mode or turn blue encoder.	[No need for an "active step", each step has its own button]
Erase note from pattern	Hold Shift and turn blue encoder while step active.	Press step button while playing no note.
Adjust swing	In sequencer mode turn green encoder.	Hold Tempo and turn blue encoder.
Rotate notes through pattern	In sequencer mode hold shift and turn green encoder.	Hold Track and press + or -.
Decouple cursor during play	While playing, press shift + < or >.	[No need - no cursor!]
Set pattern length	In sequencer mode turn white encoder.	Hold Shift and Track and press final step button.
Change pattern playback direction	In sequencer mode hold shift and turn orange encoder.
Set step multiplier	[Only in "Arpeggio"]	Hold shift+track and press 0-9.
Set note length	[Only in "endless" sequencer]	Hold step button and press end step button.
Endless/tombola/finger/sketch sequencers	Press Shift+Sequencer and turn encoder.	[Nope.]

Arp

Function	OP-1	OP-Z
Enable Arpeggio	Select Arpeggio sequencer.	Switch to Arpeggio track.
Set Arpeggio timing	In Arp sequencer, turn blue encoder.
Set trigger mode	In Arp sequencer, turn green encoder.	Tap shift until encoder LEDs are blue, then turn blue encoder.
Set trigger pattern	In Arp sequencer, turn white encoder.	Tap shift until encoder LEDs are blue, then turn yellow encoder.
Hold Arpeggio notes	In Arp sequencer, turn orange encoder.	Add notes to sequencer and select another track.
Select note ticks	In Arp sequencer, press shift and turn blue encoder.	As "Set step multiplier" for sequencer above.
Set additional note types	In Arp sequencer, press shift and turn green encoder.	Tap shift until encoder LEDs are blue, then turn red encoder.
Adjust swing	In Arp sequencer, hold shift and turn orange encoder.	See "adjust swing" for sequencer above.

Mix

Function	OP-1	OP-Z
Set track level	Press Mixer then T1 and turn appropriate encoder.	Select track, press SHIFT until encoder LEDs are orange, then turn red encoder.
Set track pan	Press Mixer then T1, hold shift and turn appropriate encoder.	Select track, press SHIFT until encoder LEDs are orange, then turn yellow encoder.
Set master drive	Press Mixer then T4 and turn encoder.	Hold Mixer and turn blue encoder.

Tempo

Function	OP-1	OP-Z
Set tempo by encoder	Press Tempo then turn blue encoder.	Hold Tempo and turn green encoder.
Set tempo by tap	Tap Tempo button in time.	Hold Tempo and tap any note in time.
Set tempo by number	Press Tempo then turn blue encoder to target.	Hold Tempo and type target tempo on 0-9.
Enable metronome	Press Tempo then turn orange encoder.	Hold Tempo and turn red encoder.
