ORCHESTRA Southern Ocean Model
A circumpolar configuration of NEMO, the Nucleus for European Modelling of the Ocean, coupled to LIM3, the Louvain-La-Neuve sea ice model. The NEMO code revision is intermediate between that of v3.6 and v4.0. The model's horizontal grid spacing is 1/12° and 75 z-partial step vertical levels. There is also a hybrid sigma-z-partial-step version. The northern boundary is at 7.27°S in the Atlantic and at 22.83°S and 29.04°S in the Indian and Pacific basins, respectively. The sea-ice component coupled to NEMO is LIM3

Model Setup
Before downloading the source files download the attached README.md and/or the ORCHESTRA_setup bash script. These will have information on how to set up the ORCHESTRA Southern Ocean configuration.
