I am an Electromechanical Engineer from the Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas - ESPE (Ecuador). CONICET fellow and PhD. student in Electrical Engineering at the National University of San Juan (Argentina). Part of the research and development group of Smart Grids of the Instituto De Energía Eléctrica (IEE), where I research areas related to distributed energy resources, efficient use of electrical energy, quality and application of machine learning algorithms, and data analysis in real-time operation.

Work experience:

  • Studies of electrical protections in transmission and distribution.
  • Coordinator of the Inter-American Development Bank's investment projects in transmission and distribution power grids
  • Consulting in electrical distribution companies.
  • Simulation of electrical networks in Digsilent, Cymdist, and ETAP.
  • Developed open-source projects in OpenDSS and Python.
