I am Mozafar (kabaros), part of nyala.dev; a tiny dev house started with my childhood friend @abolkog based between Glasgow ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ, Khartoum ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฉ and Melbourne ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ. We build mobile and web apps commercially and invest the income in building tech for the marginalised by the marginalised.

Some of our projects:

  • barmaga.io is a platform to learn programming in Amharic ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡น, Arabic ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฉ and Swahili. ๐Ÿ’ฐ Support Barmaga on chuffed.org to keep the project going ๐Ÿ’ฐ
  • howdiverse.is analyses ethnic and gender diversity in Tech and Media using Deep Learning.
  • Dawa a mobile app to find medicine in Khartoum.
  • BashirCountdown.com: An SMS gateway to circumvent internet blocking in Sudan during the 2018 revolution.
  • Some of our commercial projects: BTheCrew (react-native, firebase), Carousel (react-native, react, node, aws), SSC (gatsby, aws, strapi, stripe, lambdas), and more.
