Getting Started

Prerequisites

To run this project locally, you need to have the following installed on your machine:

• Node.js
• MongoDB
• Git

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/kmoin1309/kalakendra.git
   
    2.	Navigate to the project directory:
   

cd kalakendra

3.	Install dependencies:

npm install

4.	Set up the environment variables:

Create a .env file in the root directory and add the following details:

MONGO_URI=your-mongodb-connection-string PORT=5000 VERTEX_API_KEY=your-google-vertex-api-key

5.	Start the server:

npm start

6.	The app will be running on http://localhost:5000.

Running the Frontend

1.	Navigate to the client directory:

cd client

2.	Install frontend dependencies:

npm install

3.	Start the React app:

npm start

4.	The frontend will be running on http://localhost:3000.
