OTA

Immediately after power-on (during led quick test) press & hold button 4 (D4/start button). In the LCD display you should see "enable AP/OTA". The esp is then in wifi "AP" mode, so you cann connect to it, check the source for default SSID/password. From here you can perform over-the-air updates via Arduino IDE.

This was tested in a wemos D1 mini (esp8266) with arduino IDE 1.8.10 and esp8266 sdk version 2.6.3. As board in this case select: LOLIN(WEMOS) D1 R2 & mini, for 'Flash Size' select: '4MB (FS: 1MB OTA:~1019KB)'

scan network

$ avahi-browse -v -a $ iwlist wlan0 scan|grep SSID

iptables

iptables -I INPUT -s 192.168.4.1 -j ACCEPT iptables -I OUTPUT -d 192.168.4.1 -j ACCEPT
