Charts
All Statistics Charts have the ability to Zoom, Scroll, Save the Chart Image, Print the Chart Image, and Copy the Chart Image to the Clipboard. All this is done through a Right Click menu (Context Menu) on the chart.
To Zoom hold down the CTRL button and use the wheel on your mouse.
To Scroll Left click on the chart and drag it in any direction you want to scroll it to.
Every Field in the currently open HL7 messages is usable in the Message Statistics Chart. To utilize this feature, select a single Field in one of the currently open messages and right click on it. In the Context Menu select the View Message Statistics option, this will open the Statistics Chart Form and display all values in the selected field for all open messages.
The Hourly Traffic Statistics chart will take the Date/Time of Message on all open messages and display a chart of the hour value for each message.
This feature is located on the Application Menu Bar under Tools > View Hourly Traffic Statistics.
The Daily Traffic Statistics chart will take the Date/Time of Message on all open messages and display a chart of the day of the week value for each message.
This feature is located on the Application Menu Bar under Tools > View Daily Traffic Statistics.
The Filled Fields Report displays the Minimum, Average, and Maximum lengths of values in each Field that contains a value in all HL7 messages currently open in HL7 Analyst.

HL7 Analyst allows for creation and re-use of custom reports. To create a new report select the fields you wish to see every time you launch this report, and Right Click. In the Context Menu select Create Report and give the report a name. Note: All report names must be unique.
After creating a new report the report will be displayed and all open messages will be used in the report display.
The new report will be available along with any other custom reports you’ve created in the Display Report Selector on the Segment Navigation Bar.
To display an existing report select the report in the Display Report Selector and click the Load Selected Report button.
The Unique Values Report takes a single field and displays all unique values for it with the value string, the number of occurrences, and the percentage for each value string. To utilize this feature, select a single Field in the Segment Display and Right Click on it. In the Context Menu select Display Unique Values and the Unique Values Form will open.
