The case is divided into three parts:

Part 1: Importing and cleaning data Part 2: Creating visualizations Part 3: Communicating insights

  1. Import the data into Power BI. Once you have a good understanding of the data, you can import it into Power BI. Power BI makes it easy to connect to a variety of data sources, including Excel files, CSV files, and databases.1

  2. Clean and transform the data. Once the data is imported, you may need to clean and transform it. This may involve removing duplicate values, correcting errors, and creating new variables.

  3. Create visualizations. The goal of this project is to create visualizations that will help you to understand the data and communicate your findings to others. Power BI offers a variety of visualization tools that you can use to create charts, graphs, and maps.

  4. Analyze the data. Once you have created your visualizations, you can use them to analyze the data. This may involve identifying trends, spotting anomalies, and making comparisons.

  5. Communicate your findings. The final step is to communicate your findings to others. This may involve creating a report, giving a presentation, or writing a blog post.
