# Set up for local environment

## GCP

1. Create a GCP project
2. Add [Identity Platform](https://console.cloud.google.com/customer-identity/) to the projec
    1. Add Email/Password provider
    2. Create key for `firebase-adminsdk`

## Frontend app

1. Add `apiKey` and `authDomain` to .env

    ```
    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_API_KEY=xxxxxxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_AUTH_DOMAIN=<GCP_PROJECT_ID>.firebaseapp.com
    ```


## Backend app

1. Add serviceaccount.json for `firebase-adminsdk` to .env

    ```
    GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS=gserviceaccount.json
    ```
