Description

LWRP to install Mac OS X installer packages.

Requirements

Platform

• Mac OS X ( Tested on 10.7.4 Lion)

Actions

• :install - Installs package with installer

Paramter attributes

• source - remote URL for the pkg to download
• checksum - sha256 checksum of the pkg to download. Default is nil
• package_id - Package id for pkgutil

Usage Examples

• Install MacTex 2012

  osx_pkg_package 'MacTex' do source "http://mirror.ctan.org/systems/mac/mactex/MacTeX.pkg" package_id "org.tug.mactex.texlive2012" end
