VTS Browser Inspector Mode

Inspector Mode

VTS Browser allows you to enable inspector mode which provides more information about displayed map. Inspector mode is activated by pressing Ctr+Shift+D. In case you do not wish to support inspector mode in your web application use following browser parameter inspector : false.

Inspector Mode Shortcuts

  • Shift+S - Show statistics
  • Shift+R - Show statistic graphs
  • Shift+V - Show map view panel
  • Shift+E - Show style editor
  • Shift+W - Display wireframe
  • Shift+F - Display flat shaded
  • Shift+L - Display terrain scan
    • Num Plus - Increase terrain scan LOD
    • Num Minus - Decrease terrain scan LOD
    • Num Multiply - Set terrain scan LOD automatically
  • Shift+B - Display bounding boxes. Once bounding boxes are displayed then following keyboard shortcuts will be available:
    • L - Display LODs
    • P - Display positions
    • I - Display indices
    • M - Display mesh bbox
    • F - Display face count,number of submeshes, glue flag
    • E - Increase font size
    • D - Display Distance, Perceived texel size, Node texel size
    • S - Display surfaces
    • B - Display bound layers
    • N - Display metanode information
    • C - Display credits
    • T - Display internal texture size
    • G - Display only geodata bboxes
  • Shift+N - Display bounding boxes for nodes - additional keys are similar to Shift+B
  • Shift+A - Display bounding boxes for geodata labels and line labels
  • Shift+K - Display hidden geodata labels and line labels
  • Shift+G - Show texels per poly stats
  • Shift+X - Switch fog mode
  • Shift+M - Suspend map loader
  • Shift+H - Display grid
  • Shift+O - Switch orthographics projection
  • Shift+Q - Switch view mode obj/subj
  • Shift+C - Render map without interruption - good for FPS measurements
  • Shift+Z - Unlimited zoom

Tricks which works without Inspector Mode

  • Ctrl+Alt+Shift+MouseWheel - Change FOV
  • Ctrl+Alt+Shift+DoubleClick - Unlimited zoom
