The Check and Connect Program seeks to foster student engagement at school and with learning with the students who show warning signs of disengagement with school and who are at risk of dropping out

• Responsible for creating a dataset of 76 students in the evaluation of the Check and Connect Program in Surrey Schools
• Collaborated with others in the department to identify data errors in the original dataset and carry out methods to analyze the data. The analysis helped the department to develop a report and recommendations to improve the program

French Immersion is an intensive second language acquisition program. Students study in French while following the regular B.C. Curriculum Prescribed Learning Outcomes

• Provided robust analyses of open-ended data and survey questions where the data and questions contained the responses from more than 600 students and their parents
• Built the analyses result into reports and a set of infographics

The systematic literature review project is foundational to the development of workshops and professional development activities delivered across surrey schools
• Collaborated with district education consultants to identify relevant peer-reviewed articles and books concerning multiple and critical literacies across school subject areas (e.g., mathematics and statistics, English Language Arts, science, social studies, and civic engagement)
