This release reaches MVP for the network load balancer Caplance. The following is implemented:

  • Consistent hashing-based backend selection
  • Backend registration
  • Backend health checks
  • caplancectl, a tool to manage a client instance of Caplance
  • Logging
  • UDP encapsulation to allow return traffic to go around the load balancer
