This is a Python package that contains the TopoFlow spatial hydrologic model. It includes:
(1) the EMELI plug-and-play modeling framework,
(2) a set of 20 plug-and-play, model components with Basic Model Interface (BMI),
(3) a set of low-level utilities used by all components,
(4) complete documentation in the topoflow/docs folder,
(5) several sets of example data for testing in the topoflow/examples folder.
The set of model components includes many hydrologic process components: 3 channel routing, 4 infiltration, 2 snowmelt, 2 evaporation, 1 meteorology, 1 diversions, 1 saturated-zone, 1 D8 toolkit, 1 reporting (driver), as well as a fluvial landscape evolution model component called Erode and a valley glacier dynamics model called GC2D.
