Thanks for your PR. However, I think we want to delete this field completely. There is a bunch of discussion in #7352 about removing it.

I think you mean #3689. Yes, I'm aware of it, but the last update there is from 2020. If the plan actually is to remove it, then let's close #7352 as currently the last action there from repository maintainers was to add the “Accepted” label, what makes it confusing.
