# **Server Updates February 2023**

New mobs in the wild! We added the `animalia` mod to the server, by the same
creator of `draconis`: ElCeejo. This was suggested by the Minetest forum user
`KingBull`, as a way to fix an issue while tamming Wyverns and possibly feeding
Draconis dragons.

Animalia brings a **new set of wild life to the server**, with beautiful
textures and interesting mechanics. Explore the world to figure out what new
creatures you will discover!

We also have activated the new vehicles from the latest `automobiles_pck`
update: the Vespa motorcycle and Delorian car! Ride this motorcycle around the
server and help us build some new roads connecting all world areas.

This update also includes a new mod to help builders: `school_furniture`, by our
community member **José Anastácio**! This new mod will add several new furniture
to build our virtual class room, providing a more immersive experience. Also
added in this update, the mod pack `morelights` and `morelights_dim`, as well as
the `ethereal_stuff` will help you get new and interesting elements to your
regular builds. Let's build amazing things around the world!

Tired to see the same lands over and over? No more places do dig as you reached
the final Xtraores level? Fear not: you can now try to **explore the space!**.
We added the mod `other_worlds` to the server, to allow players to have new
exploration adventures! You will need to use the vehicles to travel up, managing
the fuel usage and potentially creating some Travelnet checkpoints along the
way: space starts at 5000 blocks in height. In space, you will start to discover
a new and interesting portion of the server filled with asteroids and unique
crystals.

Finally, we also added the `technic` and `pipeworks` mods, to automation on
steroids. Search for technic in the inventory UI to discover the new nodes, as
well as browse over the new Automation Components inventory tab to learn how to
craft some of the new items. These mods were recommended by our community
members `farribeiro` and `JGoffredo`.

## Gameplay Changes

We also attempted to change some behavior of existing mods to improve the
gameplay:

1. Wasps from `dmobs` will no longer spawn so we only need to deal with the remaining ones that were already spawned. Wasp bosses will still spawn so watch out for them!
2. Dragons from `dmobs` mod will no longer spawn. Take care of the ones you have tammed. If you have these dragon eggs, you can also still hatch them and get these ancient and unique creatures.
3. We also have an **updated inventory interface**. The goal fot this was to make the inventory interface easier to use on Android. Let us know what you think about it on Discord!

## Updated mods
The server was updated to the Minetest 5.7.0 engine version.
There are no significant changes in gameplay, but this new
version fixed some bugs and also brings performance improvements.

Novos mobs na natureza! Adicionamos o mod `animalia` ao servidor, pelo mesmo
criador de `draconis`: ElCeejo. Isso foi sugerido pelo usuário do fórum Minetest
`KingBull`, como uma forma de corrigir um problema ao domar Wyverns e
possivelmente ao alimentar dragões Draconis.
O servidor foi atualizado para a versão do motor Minetest 5.7.0.
Não há mudanças significativas no gameplay, mas esta nova versão
corrige alguns problemas e traz melhorias de performance.

Animalia traz um **novo conjunto de vida selvagem para o servidor**, com belas
texturas e mecânicas interessantes. Explore o mundo para descobrir o que há de
novo e quais criaturas que você encontrará!

Também ativamos os novos veículos da última atualização de `automobiles_pck`, de
**APercy**: a motocicleta Vespa e o carro Delorian! Pilote esta motocicleta ao
redor do servidor e nos ajude a construir alguns novas estradas conectando todas
as áreas do mundo. Uma versão especial do **Delorean** do filme De Volta para o
Futuro está disponível como item exclusivo, que iremos conceder apenas a jogadores
selecionados.

Esta atualização também inclui um novo mod para ajudar os construtores:

## Ajustes na Jogabilidade

Também tentamos mudar alguns comportamentos dos mods existentes para melhorar o
jogabilidade:

1. Vespas de `dmobs` não aparecerão mais, então só precisamos lidar com o restantes que já foram gerados. Chefes de vespas ainda aparecerão, então assista fora para eles!
2. Os dragões do mod `dmobs` não aparecerão mais. Cuide dos que você tem domesticado. Se você tiver esses ovos de dragão, também poderá chocá-los e obter essas criaturas antigas e únicas.
3. Também temos uma **interface de inventário atualizada**. O objetivo disso era tornar a interface de inventário mais fácil de usar no Android. Deixe-nos saber o que você pense nisso no Discord!
